Principal's Message
Dear Red Hill Elementary Parents and Students,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! I hope this letter finds you well-rested and ready for an
exciting year ahead. My name is Tyler Brown, and I am honored to serve as the principal of
Red Hill Elementary. Together with our dedicated team, we are committed to making this school
year a rewarding and enriching experience for every student.
As Aladdin taught us, it's time to embark on a "whole new world" of learning and discovery. We
are thrilled to announce the continuation of our social emotional learning program, Choose Love. This
program will empower our students with essential life skills such as compassion, courage, forgiveness
and gratitude, fostering a positive and supportive school environment. Additionally, our transition
program, Anchored for Life, will continue to provide our students with the tools they need to
navigate life's changes confidently and resiliently, much like Moana finding her way across the
ocean.
This year, we are excited to welcome several new staff members to our Red Hill family, including
our new Vice Principal, Mrs. Kori Cidade. Mrs. Cidade brings a wealth of experience and
enthusiasm to our school, and we are fortunate to have her join our leadership team. Please join
me in giving her a warm welcome, as warm as Belle's embrace of new friends in the castle!
We are also expanding our afterschool programs to offer even more opportunities for our students to
explore their interests and develop new skills. This year, students can look forward to participating
in programs such as art, hula, Japanese language, coding, robotics, running club, and much more.
These programs are designed to nurture creativity, physical fitness, and intellectual curiosity,
ensuring that every student finds something they love. Just as Elsa discovered her powers in
Frozen, we hope our students will discover their own unique talents and passions.
As we embark on this new school year, I want to express my gratitude for your continued support
and partnership. Together, we will create a vibrant and nurturing environment where every student
can thrive. Remember the wisdom of Mufasa from The Lion King: "We are all connected in the
great Circle of Life," and it is through our connection and collaboration that we will succeed.
I look forward to seeing you all at our upcoming events and working together to make this year
the best one yet (if you haven’t guessed already, our theme this year is Disney musicals!!).
Warm regards,
Tyler Brown, Principal
Kori Cidade, Vice Principal
